Nickmercs Won The Very First Warzone 2.0 Game Because Of Course He Fucking Did

Was there ever a doubt that Nick's return to Warzone would result in the first win EVER on the new game?

In the video, it gives you a snapshot of what to expect in Warzone 2. I did a Twitch watch party over the event, so if you wanna see more gameplay, checkout my video below:

I left the full gameplay in for the first Warzone 2.0 game to give you guys a chance to see what's new and revamp in the updated battle royale. The biggest things I noticed was different looting mechanisms. I'm not a fan of them one bit. Warzone's looting simple is simple, easy and effective. This loot system is closer to Blackout which was clunkier and more time consuming.

In a battle royale, you want the simplest and fastest looting possible, so you can always be on the move. This change seems completely unnecessary to me and I really hope they change it back.

The other major thing is to start saying your final goodbyes to loadouts! That's right, the thing that made Warzone so unique is getting axed in Warzone 2.0. At the buy stations, you're able to by different weapons, but there's no "loadout marker" option. Another very interesting move by Activision. I will say, loadouts made the game unique but they immediately diminished the main point of a battle royale. In a BR, you want to find the best loot possible to give yourself the biggest advantage throughout the game. Like in Fortnite, there was never a better feeling than having the gold scar. However, Warzone soon becamse a game of finding 10k as fast as humanly possible, to then run the exact same loadout as every other human on the planet.

Now, the no loadout system will be better for players who aren't able to spend hours every single day to rank weapons up.

Terminal is officially confirmed a location in Warzone 2.0:

Here's the full map named Al Mazrah

The last major change I'll take about is armor. In Warzone 2.0, you start with 2 armor plates and will need to loot and find an armor vest in order to be able to equip 3 plates of armor. Again, another weird change that I don't like or love, but I'm simply curious to see how it plays out when I get my hands on the game.

We'll be live on Twitch on Friday at 1pm EST for the MW2 beta, you can watch by clicking here!
