Tesla Just Unveiled Their Terrifying AI Robot 'Optimus' Despite Elon Musk Once Saying "With Artificial Intelligence, We Are Summoning the Demon"

Throughout the recent years we've seen all sorts of robot variations that make us feel uneasy. No one has asked for them, yet tech companies around the globe continue to build them as their mini arms race to become the real life Skynet/Cyberdyne moves along. Well, now Elon Musk has thrown his hat in the ring and I for one am terrified. To this point I really haven't been scared of any robot, until now...

Nope, nope, nope. That thing looks like the one that takes over. It doesn't exactly have the movements yet that invoke fear in your eyes, but give it a few years and this motherfucker will be able to kill you in 150 different ways you never saw coming.

Here's what they claim it'll be used for to start.

The newly developed Optimus robot is also known under the unofficial name Tesla Bot. The primary purpose of this machine is industrial: according to current plans, first, these humanoid bots will appear in the company’s own factories.

In long term, the manufacturer envisions Tesla Bots taking on more difficult roles and making a transition to the mass consumer market, where they could be used as home assistants capable of helping to cook, mow the lawn, and even caring for elderly people. During his talk last week, Elon Musk also mentioned the possibility of using future Tesla Bot models for purely social needs – either as “buddies” for keeping company, or toys for a romantic or even sexual purpose. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm SURE we won't weaponize these guys once they get the hang of those simple tasks. Also imagine buying this thing for $20,000 as a pal to keep you company? I understood, sadly, that there are sickos out there who will want to fuck these robots, but friend-zoning a robot? Probably best to unalive yourself at that point and give the cash to someone else.

Let's also not forget what Elon initially said about artificial intelligence.

"With artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon. You know all those stories where there's the guy with the pentagram and the holy water and he's like… yeah, he's sure he can control the demon, it doesn't work out."

"I think the danger of AI is much greater than the danger of nuclear warheads by a lot and nobody would suggest that we allow anyone to build nuclear warheads if they want. That would be insane"

“And mark my words, AI is far more dangerous than nukes. Far. So why do we have no regulatory oversight? This is insane.”

So the really smart guy who is deploying these robots to the world once said embracing AI is like summoning the demon and more dangerous than nukes. Oh and then he continued to build an army of them! Why is that? Because he's down for all of that. He's one of them and wants more of his kind. Machine takeover? Right on schedule with what Musk has planned for us.

Our only answer for this is to send all the robots to Philadelphia. They know how handle these machines better than anyone.

Let's just hope this new Optimus robot from Tesla doesn't get wind of what happened to Hitchbot. That's actually how the machine war begins. Not sure how I feel that Philadelphia basically decides if the human race continues or ends, but then again Smitty does appear like an easy scapegoat if shit hits the fan.
