McDonald's Is Officially Bringing Back Boo Bucket Happy Meals To The Delight Of 90s Kids Everywhere

DON'T. LET. RONALD. MCDONALD. GET. HOT.

I blogged about McDonald's once again proving why they have been sitting on the fast food throne for my entire life by bringing back Happy Meals.

However at this point it appears they are just running up the score on their Q4 numbers recession/depression/whatever the fuck we are going through be damned by rereleasing these Boo Buckets. I'm not sure which executive at the Golden Arches decided to continually pump nostalgia directly into the bloodstream of anybody that grew up in the 90s like whatever drug the kids are doing these days. But I thank them for bring these back.

You know what 90s kids have as grown ups in 2022? Young kids of their own. You know what those 90s kids grown ups need after two years being stuck inside with their kids for wayyyy too long? A reminder of when they were growing up during the glorious time known as the 90s without a care in the world other than which toy or boo bucket they got with their happy meal.

Now instead of thinking about my own mortality while politely complimenting the costumes of kids asking for candy at my door on Halloween, I can smirk a bit while looking at the Boo Bucket holding the candy I'm giving out and remember when I seemingly had my entire life ahead of me. Sorry that got really dark, really quick. It's been a heck of a week and my team has a wild card game tonight that I have to stream with a cartoon character.

Anyway, thanks again for bringing these Boo Buckets back McDonald's and if you are looking for any other retro throwback Happy Meal giveaways to get some more money out of my wallet, here are some suggestions.

For the record, I would only use this bucket while trick or treating because it was unequivocally the GOAT of the halloween game.

Also shout out the Bussin' Boys for releasing these shirts that hit the same spot as the Boo Buckets.
