It's A Real Fucking Shame That Ferrari Robbed Us Of An Exciting F1 Year

Fuck you Binotto!!!

This morning at about 4am, the Formula 1 season came to an end. Well not really the entire season. BUT Max Verstappen got crowned as the back-to-back F1 World Champion after winning the Japanese Grand Prix.

(The points being awarded got a little confusing by the end of the race, so Max himself wasn't sure if it was confirmed or not)

There's still four races left to go in the F1 season, but the most exciting part has officially come to an end. Sure, some teams will still be fighting for their spot in the Constructor's, but take last year for example: the ENTIRE world seemed to be tuned into the final race in Abu Dhabi to see Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton have one final race for the Championship.

It was ELECTRIC and everything you could ever hope for in an F1 season!

This year has been completely filled with Ferrari's inability to formulate a winning strategy. Sure, the Red Bull car was extremely fast this year. However, Ferrari were in a commanding lead early on this year and continually pissed away their opportunities. They had a fantastic car with two awesome drivers. However, week in and week out they hung Charles Leclerc out to dry until they quite literally made him the driver and lead strategist.

Charles, would you like to pit this lap? Question.

Charles, do you think the mediums or the softs are better to end the race? Question.

This is the equivalent of Aaron Boone consulting with Aaron Judge before he makes every single pitching change. It's just shit you would never expect to see in professional sports.

It's fucking outrageous and Ferrari should be embarrassed of their entire racing season.

Poor Charles Leclerc man. Even though he drives for a rival team, it's really hard not to like the guy. He's a really cool dude and seems super down to Earth. Always gives a great press conference and seems as genuine as they come. He doesn't deserve this shitty team.

Someone at Ferrari NEEDS to be fired. You can't have this sort of season and run it back like nothing happened. Even if Ferrari weren't going to win this year, the way they rolled over and let Red Bull absolutely destroy them is borderline humiliating! They have two great young drivers and I really, really hope they come back next year prepared and ready to compete for the Championship.

Ferrari is still most likely going to finish 2nd in the Constructor's Championship, which in a vacuum is a good season for them. However, the way they attained this 2nd place is utterly abysmal.

It's probably most comparable to the 73-9 Warriors. Unbelievable regular season team, but no ring to show for it. This isn't a 1-1 comparison, but I hope it gets the point across. The potential was there for this team but the result was not.

In all truth, I'm extremely excited that Verstappen won back-to-back. That's my fucking boy and I'll always been a Super Max stan. I just wish this year we had more exciting races. I wanted to see the drivers push the cars to their limits. I wanted to see wheel-to-wheel action between Leclerc and Verstappen. Hopefully next season is better with a much more competitive Driver Championship.

Regardless, all hail Max Emilian Verstappen!!!
