Conan O'Brien Once Fired A Crew Member For Being Rude To A Waiter Which Is The #1 Way To Show You're An Asshole

Conan O'Brien once gave a late-night show crew member the axe after he witnessed the man being 'impatient and rude' to a restaurant server.

The incident was claimed in a tweet published Tuesday by former CONAN staff writer Todd Levin as an example of the beloved talk show host's genuine nobility.

It also served as a dig at late-night personality James Corden, who was recently accused of being the most 'abusive customer EVER' by New York's Balthazar restaurant.

Love it. Late night wars are back. This used to be part of the fabric of television. Three or four competing shows trying desperately to carve out an audience. That audience was usually supplemented with a good degree of tabloid drama as the shows typically hated each other. It's good to see late night is getting back to it's roots right before that format dies for good. Love that for them.

You know what I didn't love when reading that article...James Corden's salary. That "little cretin of a man" makes $36 MILLION PER YEAR!!! $36 million. Thirty-six. A fake jolly overweight British guy makes $36M/year because he invented singing in cars with celebrities. A go-pro and some singing that makes people sitting at home say "I do that too. I sing that song when I'm in the car. Justin Bieber is just like me".

That's what makes this Corden story hit harder. This puffball should be just that 24 hours a day. A kind, cuddly dough boy who realizes that he hits the fucking lottery every day. That quote in the original Corden banning post saying that Corden yelled that maybe he should go back into the kitchen and make the omelette himself. Yeah, bro, you should. You should have to spend a year as a line cook in a kitchen making 10/hour and then maybe you'd have some gratitude for that CAKE career.

If being jolly, overweight, singing, and dancing to embarrassing songs is worth $36M then I am SEVERELY underpaid

Credit to Conan for drawing a line and setting a standard of behavior for his team. Being rude to the waitstaff is the biggest redflag a person can have regardless of their job. If they're a dickhead to someone they see as below them then God knows what they'll do to anyone else. Can't have people around you like that. The only thing worse would be Corden or anyone in content being rude to their fans. That is the biggest douchebag move you can do. You should appreciate and cherish that person because those people liking you and consuming your content is the reason why you have a job. If you can't appreciate that then you have a million other things wrong with you too and it's only a matter of time before you're looking for a different line of work. Something Corden should be acutely aware of
