RICO WAS RIGHT: Watch USC's Caleb Williams Basically Clinch The Heisman Trophy On An Absurd 1st Down Scramble

According to the ABC telecast, Caleb Williams ran about 80 actual yards on this nutty scramble drill, which all but guaranteed the USC quarterback would claim the most prestigious individual hardware in college football.

EVEN BEFORE THIS, Williams was striking that iconic Heisman Trophy pose!

This guy is good and he knows it. I'm kind of upset that he ruined Big Cat's Game of the Year, as he had Notre Dame +4.5 and encouraged all who would listen to ride.

Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams had other ideas. Those fuckers. I'm all for chaos and upsets. The least the Trojans could've done is let Notre Dame cover. Unfortunately, Williams' highlight-reel scamper set up a short three-yard jaunt to the end zone to make the score 31-14 following the PAT. 

From there on out, it was an exercise in rooting for a backdoor cover. Reminds me of the Ted Lasso Season 1 finale title: "The Hope That Kills You."

To drive the final dagger home, Williams ran in his third TD of the night on a 4th and 2:
