You Can't Help But Feel Bad For San Francisco Giants Fans After The Rollercoaster Offseason They've Had
What a way to wake up if you're a Mets fan, eh? We got Clem and KFC up at 330 AM podcasting about Carlos Correa signing with the Mets after his physical with the Giants didn't go so great. What a turn of events.
There were whispers yesterday about the physical not going well with the Giants and rumors that the deal may be dead. If you were a Giants fan you probably just thought it was some little hangup and the deal would get done. They were already selling Correa shirts online, he was a Giant, it was only a matter of time....until it wasn't.
Big Daddy Cohen ripped him away from the Giants while they were sleeping and that is so, so cruel. They had him for a little over a week when they thought they were going to get him for 13 years. But it's okay, it's not like they were teased with two gigantic superstars this offseason right??? RIGHT?!?!?!
Not only did they get juked out by Correa and Scott Boras, there was also about 7 minutes where they thought they were getting "Arson Judge". What a tease for Giants fans this offseason. There was a time where they thought they had both Judge and Correa and now they have neither. The worst was they both were in writing! There was proof they were getting them! Even though Heyman screwed it up, they 100% thought Judge was a Giant.
What a tough 2 weeks for the San Fran fanbase. And now somewhere in Oracle Park sits a Correa Jersey that was supposed to be worn during the press conference yesterday. It's a collectors item now. Never to be worn by Correa or anyone else. What a sad, sad sight for the Giants fans. It's okay, at least they re-signed Carlos Rodon.
…shit.
Tough sledding these last few weeks for our friends in the Bay Area.
