Source Confirms - Mike Vrabel Doesn’t Give A Crap About Your Fantasy Football Team
A few days ago I wrote about the fact that there was a chance the Titans could sit a majority of their starters on Thursday night when they played the Cowboys because this game is essentially meaningless to them. Their playoff hopes lie within the game next week vs Jacksonville, so why risk any of your big guys health? Well we now know what the Titans will do and it's exactly what I said. Rest all your big guys, INCLUDING DERRICK HENRY! He's listed as "doubtful" but it's pretty well known Henry isn't going to play as he was listed on the injury report with a 'hip" injury. Sureeeeee.
I'm over this season as a Titans fan, it's been a nightmare. Decent chance I don't even watch tonight because it's essentially a 4th preseason game. I have 0 interest in watching Malik Willis try and complete passes again. But like I wrote earlier this week, the big focus is on Fantasy Football championships which are this week and now I have a squad that wont have Derrick Henry. Millions of others are in that same boat as well. I get why Vrabel and the Titans are doing this but man does it sting. I joined a league this year and hitched my wagon to DH and now I have a chance to win it all and I can't dance with the girl that I brought to the dance, buzzkill.
This confirms that Mike Vrabel, NFL Coaching Staffs, players, and anyone associated with the NFL don't give a shit about you or your fantasy teams. And they shouldn't. But it is funny to search "Derrick Henry" and "Championship" on Twitterand see everyone bitching and complaining about him being sat. Somewhere out there you've got a guy who has Derrick Henry, Davonte Adams, and Tua Tagovailoa and thought he was cruising into his championship and now he's scrambling. I get why Vrabes is doing this but it hurts deep down. So thoughts and prayers go out to anyone in this situation, blame your commissioner for not making the fantasy playoffs last week.
