Viral Waffle House Cook Claims She's Been Blacklisted By The Chain And Got Written Up After Having A Chair Thrown At Her
By now you've probably seen the viral video of a Waffle House employee in Texas palming a chair after it was thrown at her by an unruly patron who had been involved in a fight late night at the always open palace of waffles, omelets and other high calories favorites
Recently though, the employee Halie Booth did an interview on Tucker Carlson where she detailed the incident
Carlson asks her if she received a bonus or any sort of recognition for her calmness and how she handled the situation to which she responded no and that she'd actually been written up. Why you ask? For breaking a sugar shaker. We would then learn that she claims she left the job voluntarily because she had moved. She then reapplied in another state and said she had been blacklisted by the food chain. Amazing. We all know that working at places like this are tough. They don't make a ton of money and constantly at this hour have to deal with drunk assholes whining because the food is taking too long or they didn't get enough cheese on their omelets or the waffles aren't cooked well enough. They are some of the tireless people we should treat better in America.
Shame on Waffle House. Let's hope the recent press and their pathetic behavior catches up to them and they do right by Ms. Booth at least by allowing her to come back. Hell, you couldn't give her a little bonus or an employee of the month plaque?
I'm not sure why one would go to Waffle House, considering you can get much better food at diners and places like that, but think better of it as we now know they have no care for their employees!
