Must Be Nice - Eminem Apparently Turned Down A Ho-Hum $8 Million To Perform With 50 Cent At The World Cup

This might be the most 'fuck you money' that has existed in quite some time. $8 million! That's a lot ... to almost anyone. Even millionaires would be like yeah I'll take the $8 million for a trip to a shit country with shittier rules and go on being rich. Eminem didn't seem to give a damn. That's impressive. The way 50 tells the story it sounds like it wasn't even a second of consideration. Just nope. I'm good without going to Qatar for $8 million and doing a one-off show. 

Now, on the other hand, I would love to see 50 and Eminem together again. We saw what happened when some legends get together at a sporting event: 

I also don't know anyone who didn't like Eminem's music. I mean, shit, he was a staple of the TRL generation. Anyone over the age of 30ish grew up listening to him during our formative years. I can even bet there are a handful of people reading this that wore the white t-shirt and at least considered dying their hair blonde. 

I don't care if they aren't the focal point of hip hop or music in general anymore. They were a focal point of MY music. That's what I care about. Selfish? Sure. We all are. I want to hear the guys I like if I'm watching someone put on a performance. I don't care if others like them. Now, sure, we're talking about 2 of the biggest names, but the point still stands. 

We gotta find a better event and get these two together again. Need more 50/Eminem together.
