The Only Correct Response To Computer Nerds Trying To Shit On The Giants Season

I saw this floating around last night and spent the last few hours on how to properly respond. Here are the options I came up with for the correct response.

1.

Giphy Images.

A simple fart sound should get the point across.

2. Just say see you Saturday

We're still playing in the NFL Playoffs. Seems like a reasonable response that again proves them wrong.

But ultimately I figured out the correct response.

3. Tell them to shut the fuck up, games played on the field

Not to sound like a hardo because I do love analytics. But who gives a fuck? The Giants were supposed to be one of the worst teams in the league. They aren't supposed to be in the playoffs. They sure as shit weren't supposed to win a playoff game, especially on the road. So you think I care about some stat nerds trying to say they are lucky? No. Welcome to sports.

It's this simple. The Giants beat who they had to in order to get a winning record. Then the beat who they had to in order to advance in the playoffs. Maybe they create some of their own luck. That's part of it. I care about the scoreboard. I don't care about dropped INTs and luck factor. Of course people don't think the Giants should be here. We shouldn't! There's no reason for this team to be good except coaching, Daniel Jones taking a massive jump, Saquon staying healthy, Andrew Thomas turning into an All-Pro and the defense looking good for the majority of the year.

So get these nerds away from me. I don't need to see anything like this to try and shit on the Giants. In fact, I hope Daboll and Wink use this as motivation. I'm sure Wink hates these dudes. All I see in that original tweet are winning plays. That's what matters.
