Hardo Teacher Goes On A Kenny Powers Style Rant Bragging That "I'm One Of The Most In Shape People Around Here, I Do Marathons"

HARDOOOOOO. We all had a teacher like this in high school. The guy who only taught so he could help coach a sport. The guy who put so little effort into his class that all you had to do was turn in the homework and show up and you got an A. The guy who would call student athletes pussies if he didn't see them in the weight room the night before.

This dude is obviously fed up with his class and trying to make a point. It just seems to me that asking "why (should we celebrate body positivity)? They're going to die because they're fucking fat!" is missing the mark somewhat. Not how I would phrase it to a group of kids but hey, it's not my class.

There's a good message in there somewhere about personal accountability and not blaming the world for you problems. The issue is that its wrapped up in a comically spot-on Kenny Powers impersonation.

"I don't care, you're fat."

A student responds, "it can be genetic."

"Thats bullshit. That's a fucking excuse. It could be genetic, yeah. Guess what? My entire family is fat. I'm one of the most in shape people around here. I do marathons!"

I swear to god if you close you eyes you can see Kenny Powers saying it. You can picture the smug look attached to the mullet as he scoffs and brags on his physical prowess. Seriously, this could be a deleted scene from one of the early seasons of Eastbound and Down.

Giphy Images.

I agree with the overall sentiment that you need to be accountable to yourself. Honestly, more kids need to hear that. But it doesn't matter how pertinent you message is if you sound like a Kenny Powers deep fake while you say it. No matter the intentions, you're probably going to get dragged by the internet.

Not that it bothers this dude. He's so fucking ripped and in shape he could care less what fat slobs like us think of him. We're all going to die from our gluttonous ways while him and his bleeding nipples keep racking up marathon stickers to slap on the back of his pickup truck.

But I want to repeat: His overall message is correct.

"Take responsibility for yourself. No one cares."

That's about as real as it gets. I would say this guy is probably an awesome teacher but over 50% of his class is failing, which feels like somewhat of an indictment on him.

I've found in life that if you wait for the perfect messenger to deliver the perfect message you will be waiting forever. Sometimes the most imperfect people tell you the most perfect thing you need to hear at an unexpected time. This feels like one of those scenarios.

So hopefully those kids can separate the overall message and the hardo messenger. And hopefully that dude doesn't get fired for spitting some hard facts to those kids. The world needs more of that…just like the world needs more fiiiixins…
