CBB IN 60: We Have A Bracket, Best First Round Games, And More

Today’s CBB in 60 recap and today’s outfit of the day are sponsored by Express!

We officially have a bracket! The Field of 68 in the 2023 NCAA Tournament is set, and it’s SEC Champion Alabama who is the No. 1 overall seed. Houston, Kansas, and Purdue each join the Crimson Tide on the top line as well. 

The 2 seeds are Arizona, Texas, UCLA, and Marquette - 3 of the 4 of those teams won their respective conference tournament titles over the weekend are obviously very hot entering The Big Dance. 

In terms of the bubble, the Last Four Teams IN the tournament: Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Arizona State, and Nevada - that foursome will each be tipping off the tournament in Dayton on Tuesday and Wednesday. Rutgers was the biggest snub in my opinion, they’re a 1 seed in the NIT.

A couple of intriguing first round matchups in my eyes: Number 4 UConn against 13 seed Iona - give me an alternate feed that strictly shows Dan Hurley and Rick Pitino on the sidelines…

Duke-Oral Roberts is another one I’m excited about. The Blue Devils in March in the post-Coach K era against  a Cinderella from just 2 years ago.
