Big Brain Thinking: Dillon Brooks' Agent Goes After Shams For Being A 'Weirdo' And Fake News Spreader

Yep. This is exactly what you should do when your Dillon Brooks' agent. Everyone out here making fun of Dillon Brooks for, well, doing nothing. I don't mean that in the sense of Brooks being innocent, but rather Brooks literally did nothing against the Lakers. But with reports that no one is really interested in Dillon Brooks right now, you need to take the heat off of him. So his agent does the logical thing and bring attention to himself. Smart. I'm sure in no way this will backfire.

Now I get it. The whole Woj and Shams thing is weird to a degree. There's a race to be the first one to break news, when the news will just come out anyways. Shit I spent most of my life getting news and never seeing who broke it first. It just appeared on the bottom line or with a little jingle to cut into a show. Maybe even on the AOL 'news' page after that sweet, sweet dial-up sound.

Still one of the most stone cold mean things I've ever read. Under any circumstances. But what? Shams is just supposed to leave that out? Hey, he's reporting what he was told. There's only one way to prove Shams is a weirdo and fake news guy. Grizzlies gotta bring back Dillon Brooks now. 

I gotta hand it to Brooks. The man knows how to keep his name in the news cycle. He's an average player at best who should have a 3-and-D role. But nope. Everywhere you look it's Dillon Brooks this, Dillon Brooks that. He's got diss tracks out there about him now. Sure, everyone thinks he sucks and is making fun of him, but he's still in the news!
