Report: Jeffrey Epstein Was Blackmailing Bill Gates for Allegedly Cheating on His Wife With a 20-Something Russian Bridge Player

Maybe the oldest, most overused expression in the world is the one about money an its inability to buy you happiness. I can't speak to how true that is, because I haven't seen the data. But just looking at it anecdotally, it's always seemed to me the people taking private jets to the Super Bowl to watch the game from luxury suites always seem to be in better moods than the folks buying off brand groceries at the Family Dollar Store. I don't know if drinking top shelf liquor while dining on lobster tails automatically makes you happier than serving your family Dr. Thunder cola and canned seafood made with brain coral and sea monkeys. Though I have my suspicions it does.

What having all the money in the world can't do for you, it seems, is make it so you never have to explain yourself to anyone. You'd think it would. That being a multi-billionaire would allow you to buy immunity from criticism. But nope. That only works on people you have control over. Employees. Family members. Anyone looking for donations or sell you something.

As a matter of fact, sometimes having money only serves to make you a bigger target. Particularly if you're one of those billionaires who can't just sail off on your massive yacht to Milan Fashion Week, bang models and leave the rest of us alone. Consider the case of Bill Gates, who turned a clumsy operating system with more bugs in it than an embassy in Moscow into the world's biggest fortune. But then decided to pass himself off as the world's biggest authority on … well, everything. He chose the path of being the world's biggest scold, lecturing us poors on every aspect of our lives. From the climate to Covid. From our food to our families.

So it didn't sit well with practically anyone find out this whole time, the Billionaire Buttinski was running around - professionally and socially - with the world's most notorious confessed pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. People had questions. Gates had terrible, terrible, unconvincing answers:

And after this latest report about Gates bromance with Epstein, we'll have many more:

Source - Jeffrey Epstein threatened to expose an affair Bill Gates allegedly had with a Russian bridge player after the Microsoft co-founder declined to join his philanthropic venture, according to a report on Sunday.

The disgraced pedophile, who killed himself in 2019, appeared to threaten Gates over the alleged affair with Russian card whiz Mila Antonova in a 2017 email, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Gates met Antonova in 2010, with the two were playing in a tournament together after she moved to the Bay Area to work as a software engineer, the newspaper said.

While Antonova acknowledged that she was on friendly terms with Gates during a 2010 video about her love of bridge, the two allegedly had a brief romance while Gates was still married to his then-wife, Melinda French Gates, sources told the Journal.

Epstein, meanwhile, met Antonova while she was looking for financial backers for a bridge academy and later paid for her to attend software coding school, according to the report.

In the 2017 email, Epstein called on Gates to reimburse him for the cost of investing in Antonova’s coding education, the Journal reported.

Look, I'm not here to judge anyone for cheating on their spouse. It's not the lifestyle of choice for me, but relationships are messy, we're all flawed human beings, and things happen. And at least Mila Antonova was above the age of consent when Epstein was paying her education bills and she and Gates were bonding over their shared love of that game rich couples play in Turner Classic Movies.

Besides, the way Antonova can make sexual double entendres about bridge, how could any man resist her charms?

Frankly, I took Gates as more of a Magic: The Gathering kind of guy. But maybe the big environmentalist in him was drawn to the way Antonova gives off that Great Thunberg (green) energy.

But of course, all this still falls under the category of our corporate attorneys' favorite qualifier, "allegedly." Neither Gates nor Antonova have confirmed they shared anything more than their mutual interest in a game for old ladies. So there's that.

What this story does though, is make you realize what a lucky break it was for a lot of very rich, famous, influential public figures that Epstein chose to take the take the coward's way out in that jail cell. The one with the broken CCTV cameras. Where the guards assigned to watch him were off somewhere else doing some other thing besides keeping him under constant surveillance. Put yourself in the shoes of some hypothetical guy who was hypothetically being blackmailed by Epstein in 2017. And then in 2019, he just so happens to hypothetically hang himself in his cell. Why, that would be a big ol' Problem Solved for you. Like your former friend and regular partner in a lot of business and "charitable" endeavors doing you one last favor by checking out of this life. Even though you had nothing to do with it, there's no denying you lucked out on that one.

Again, there's no evidence and no reason to draw a connection here. At all. It's just that with Epstein, there seems to be a lot of these reports that he was big into the extortion racket. Almost as much as he was into high finance and sex trafficking underage girls. And a lot of guys seem to have benefited from his untimely death. Funny how that worked out.

Anyway, here's wishing Mila Antonova all the success in the world in her software coding and bridge champion careers. Hopefully she's now hanging around with a better class of people.
