This Royal Guard Trombonist Who Passed Out Then Started Performing Once He Woke Up And Turned Down A Stretcher Can Play Music For My Team Any Day Of The Week

I didn't think watching some bloke playing in a band would represent the perfect embodiment for the human spirit when I woke up this morning. Yet here we are.

Not that I'm surprised it was a trombone player who did this considering I once dabbled with that instrument back in my school days and know that low brass are the true grinders of the band. You think a trumpet or saxaphone player would gut out playing after passing out in (Googles what's 30 degrees Celsius in Farenheit) 86 degree heat with a wool outfit and bearskin hat? Fuuuuuuuuuck no. Those are instruments for divas.

But the people in low brass are the common men and women that know they are responsible for setting the tone for everyone, even if it doesn't come with the glory that everyone else may get. Ipso facto, they are the fullbacks of the band. Which is exactly why this guy shook off the stretcher even though his body just shut down like an iPhone left out in the sun. Even though people may show up to listen to you, your job isn't necessarily to be heard from. That's just how low brass rolls.

P.S. I'm all for the brotherhood that comes with being in a Royal Guard together. But is it too much to carry a fresh mouthpiece for the replacement trombonist so he doesn't have to share spit with a dude that was in lala land seconds earlier.
