Wild Video Of A Bloodied Up Pilot Continuing To Fly His Plane After A Bird Comes Barreling Through The Windshield
Source - An Ecuadorian pilot was greeted by a bird at 10,000 feet after it smashed through the cockpit ... forcing the aviator to keep his cool while maintaining flight.
The clip began making rounds Wednesday, showing some sort of dead massive bird dangling right in front of pilot, Ariel Valiente, above Vinces, a city in the Los Rios Province of Ecuador.
Most shockingly, however, is the fact Valiente keeps the small aircraft in the air ... even turning the camera on himself to show his blood-covered face. He seems pretty unfazed by the terrifying ordeal. The blood is likely from the feathered-creature ... but hard to tell for sure.
The Video:
I cannot even imagine the rage coursing through that pilots veins. Just think about how upset he must be. Why? Because there's nothing you can do in that situation. You just need to embrace the suck. Realize that you're going to be covered in bird blood, peering through bird legs, spitting out bird feathers until you can land the plane...which isn't guaranteed. And it's not just any bird, it's a MASSIVE one. Look at the size of these gams...
And the damage they caused…
Gross. (Smash.) My research tell me that the perputrator is an Andean Condor. They're native to the area and can fly at up to 21,000 feet. They also have a ten-foot wingspan which explains the size of the legs. Oh well.
I think the only thing that could've made the situation worse for the pilot is if he somehow survived a crash landing. I'd rather be dead than try and survive in the Ecuadorian rain forrest. Thats all I have for this one. Have a lovely Friday and make sure to check out the latest Out & About here. Thanks for reading.
