The Plane Scene In 'Anger Management' Made Me As Mad As I've Ever Been

God damn does it still piss me off. Anyway, here is that plus all the rest of my streaming recs.

Netflix

1. Extraction 2: I've talked about this movie ad nauseam so I won't gush anymore but it's a must watch for any fan of action movies.

2. The Night Comes For Us: If you are a fan of 'The Raid' movies, this should be your next stop. It's a similar Indonesian action movie with a TON of awesome fight sequences that blow away pretty much anything you'll see in Hollywood.

3. A Knights Tale: I was talking about this movie on the last episode of the pod and man, it is just so fun to watch. A real delight from start to finish that

4. Not Another Teen Movie: I know people love this movie, bit I still think it is still under-aprecciated how ahead of the curve it was for the satires of that period. So much so that movies were still following the exact formula they were ripping for years after it's release.

5. Emily the Criminal: This is one of my favorite recent thriller movies that I think a lot of people would love if they gave it the chance. Aubrey Plaza absolutely crushes it.

HBO Max

1. Law Abiding Citizen: I assume everyone reading this has seen the movie so it doesn't need much of a pitch. If you ask me, there should be a million more movies made like this and way less of anything else.

2. Braveheart: Every time I watch this, it feels longer. That doesn't really matter, though, because I will go back and rewatch the battle scenes in this a trillion times without blinking.

3. 50 First Dates: Far from a perfect movie but this is such an easy watch. Maybe the easiest watch of all the Sandler rom-coms. Just puts me in a good ass mood which i appreciate.

4. Anger Management: We can go back-to-back Sandler, why not! I like this movie a ton and, to this day, I don't think I've ever been as angry as I watch watching him getting framed on the plane.

5. Crazy Heart: This is probably in my top-5 favorite music movies ever made. Great cast, drama and music. Doesn't get much better.

Hulu

1. Hell or High Water: I probably promote this movie too much but I'll always go to bat for any member of Taylor Sheridan's Frontier Trilogy. One of the all time great neo-western's ever made.

2. Predator: I've been on a real Arnie kick since watching his doc on Netflix. Predator is visual testosterone that never fails to get me pumped up and ready to go.

3. Flamin' Hot: This is the new movie about the creation of Flamin' Hot Cheetoes. It's a brand movie and is def a bit of Frito Lay propaganda but it's also got some heart and laughs.

4. I Love You Man: This movie has so many funny moments but the line of "You know who took these photos? M. Night Shyamalan. The director of The Village" always kills me.

5. Fresh: This is a recent, awesome horror movie that deserves more eyes. Sebastian Stan as a cannibal should be enough for anyone to click play.

Prime

1. The Tomorrow War: I had such minimal hopes for this movie when it came out but god damn was it good. Perfect Milsim scifi shit which is right up my alley + Chris Pratt rocked in it.

2. Rumble in the Bronx: This is a very underrated Jackie Chan action-comedy that fans of Rush Hour should definitly check out.

3. Attack the Block: This is a really solid comedy-scifi movie that shows what John Boyega could do before the Star Wars experience ground him into dust.

4. Eraser: Like i mentioned earlier, I've been on a big Arnie kick. This is middle-of-the-road for his filmography but it's got cool ass guns and fight scenes which is enough for me.

5. Invincible: I rewatched recently to refresh before season 2 comes out late this year.

Paramount+

1. Four Brothers: I think I watched this movie on FX 500000 times growing up and I don't think the desire to watch will stop anytime soon.

2. The Indy Trilogy: Indy's last ride is coming out this weekend so why not revisit 3 of the greatest adventure movies of all time.

3. Old School: This movie just never gets old to me. Dudes rock in the best way.

4. My Cousin Vinny: An all time classic that is always worth a rewatch.

5. MI: Fallout: Like with Indy, MI has a new entry coming soon so no better time to catch up on one of the best action movies of the last few decades.

Apple TV+

1. Master & Commander: One of my favorite dad movies ever. Just a bunch of old timey dudes going after the prize of the Pacific.

2. Cha Cha Real Smooth: Dramadies have been all the rage lately but this is one of the better ones. If you're looking for something in Apple TV's very limited movie catalogue, you could do way worse.

3. On the Rocks: Speaking of dramady, his is a nice, subtle one and my favorite Bill Murray role in a long time.

4. Wolfwalkers: This is an awesome animated movie from a couple years ago. The animation style is really unique and I think newcomers would love it.

5. Causeway: This movie got more award show love than it deserved but that doesn't mean its not very solid. Brian Tyree Henry is about as fast a rising star as there is and he rules in this.
