"Casual Sixers Fans, They'd Trade Me For A Crumbl Cookie" - Max NBA Contract Player Tobias Harris

No free ads whatsoever, but Crumbl Cookies are downright delicious. Hands down some of the best and most consistent pastries on the market. At first I thought Tobias shouldn't test sweet, sweet fate, but then remembered this:

He's an investor in the damn cookie game! The man knows what he's doing. And I respect that. Also, you know what? I don't blame him for calling out the "Casual Sixers Fans" in regards for the overhate on Tobias Harris. Most people can only think of the revisionist history stemming from Jimmy Butler leaving the Sixers and the shitshow that has occurred since.

Well, actually it was at the time all-star Ben Simmons (with seemingly unlimited potential still) and Tobias Harris over Jimmy Butler, who was fresh off of rough divorces with the Bulls and Timberwolves. He was also kind of ready to publicly feud with the head coach at the time. Little different, as we had to explain to this former roadie who lost his way when local cover band Mr. Greengenes disbanded.

Look, is Tobias Harris a max-contract worthy player? No. Of course not. You can thank Elton Brand for making that decision along with numerous others that didn't pan out like when he traded away hometown hero Mikal Bridges on draft night for Zhaire Smith. That's still fascinatingly cute.

Tobias is in the last year of his deal and at this point the Sixers are most likely better running it with him than getting lesser value or dumping the cap. He's not…bad. In 2021 before the ultimate collapse at the end of the season he was a certified all-star snub. If anything Tobias has been a victim of everything that's gone down here between the coaching and roster moves. When he was brought in from the Clippers he was a back to the basket, post up machine who could get you a bucket at will. Over the years he's been relegated to pretty much a spot up shooter roll from 3 to keep the lane clear for JoJo and Harden making his drives. No SHIT Tobias hasn't lived up to unrealistic expectations when you try to make him something that he is just not.

I'm excited to see what Nick Nurse can do with him in a year where max effort will be given for a payday. And if it doesn't work out, there's always some Chocolate Peanut Butter Oreo Cookies waiting after another second round exit. Look at this shit. I'd trade myself for this deliciousness, too.
