Browns DL Perrion Winfrey Was Released Today After A Girl Posted A Video Of Him Allegedly Pulling A Gun On Her

Fox8.com - The FOX 8 I-Team has learned Cleveland police are investigating Browns defensive lineman Perrion Winfrey after a woman reported he threatened her, and he had a gun.

The incident happened Tuesday evening at East 9th and Euclid.

We’ve learned two women told police they know Winfrey.

They saw him in a hotel lobby, and one yelled an insult to him when he didn’t respond.

They say Winfrey then became angry, making a threat and showing he had a gun.

According to the police report, the women say they have some of the encounter recorded on cell phone video.

Some guys will just never learn. Perrion Winfrey was drafted by the Browns in the 4th round of the 2022 draft after a standout collegiate career at Oklahoma and the JUCO level. It was never talent that held Perrion back but everything else off the field. Aka being a fucking idiot. 

At rookie mini camp last year I was told Perrion showed up late to the second day. You know how insane of a move that is? 

Then in April Winfrey was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend in Texas but eventually had the charges dropped after completing a diversion program. The Browns were said to have instituted a zero tolerance policy for Perrion moving forward. Well yesterday Perrion allegedly got his first career sack. And by that he completely sacked his entire career.

It's an amazing fall from grace for a guy who everyone in town loved because he barked a bunch after he was drafted by the Browns. But that was basically the storyline for this guy. All bark and no bite.

Perrion finished his short career in Cleveland with just .5 sacks in 13 games and was never really a factor on the field. Off of it was a different story though. Winfrey was out every single night in Cleveland and always seemingly mixed up in some shit.

Just a few weeks ago he was robbed at gunpoint leaving a club at 3am.

The wildest part of this whole story is the girl in this video is the same girl who put Baker Mayfield on blast for sending her out of pocket DMs.

Happy trails to Perrion. I hope he gets his shit together because he's only 22 and that's way too young for an NFL player to be pissing away his life on bottle service and general dumb assery. Leave that for Gaz and the rest of the Miami crew.
