This move almost makes too much sense for it not to happen. I get ESPN just laid off a bunch of people in search of more "megastar" talent like Pat McAfee, and let's be honest: Shannon Sharpe fits that mold. This is like putting KD on the Warriors. You gotta wonder what will happen to the rest of ESPN though, the new CBA only allows three max contracts on the roster and that would be these two and McAfee.
