Nick Saban Says He Is Sad About College Football Conference Realignment

Oh no! Head Coach Nick Saban is "sad" about the college football conference realignment. Cry me a fucking river dude. I think it's hilarious that the Grinch himself is "sad" about the "lost traditions" of college football. Saban can eat a frank for all I care.

I respect Saba  and think he's the best College Football coach of all time. But cut the shit dude. College football has never been better. The Transfer Portal, NIL, expanded CFP, and Conference Realignment are the BEST things that happened to college football. Players aren't stuck on teams they'll never play for, players are finally getting the money they deserve, and us fans are finally getting the matchups we want to see.

We no longer have to wait until late December to see USC backups play Ohio States back ups in a pointless bowl game. Instead, we get to see them play every single year in a game that could decide their fate in the college football playoffs. This is what we want. Loaded conferences, with the best of the best playing each other. Outside of the Pac 12, power-5 schools have been dominated primarily by two teams. That is now a thing of the past.

This realignment will also show us which teams actually belong in the College Football Playoff. I don't know about you but I'm tired of the 4th seed getting steamedrolled by 35 points. I know there's some exceptions to that statement, but for the most part it's true. Oregon,Washington, USC, and UCLA no longer have to worry about their strength of schedule or if they've beaten enough ranked teams to get in. Oklahoma and Texas are no longer playing in the no-defense allowed Big 12, and to be honest the 4 teams the Big 12 added (UCF, Houston,Cincinnati, and BYU) fit into the no-defense allowed mentality perfectly.

Aside from bringing peace, freedom, justice, and security to the new college football empire, this realignment is going to be HUGE for recruiting. This growth has provided greater exposure to the conferences' member institutions, leading to increased recruitment opportunities and elevating their status as top choices for high school football talent. As these conferences continue to attract top-tier athletes, their competitiveness and standing in the college football landscape will only continue to improve, solidifying their positions as premier destinations for the best college football programs and ensuring a bright future for every conference. Well except for the PAC 12.
