Unreal: New High School In Texas Has An Insane Arena, Indoor Football Practice Facility And A Mall-Style Food Court With Sonic And Jimmy Johns
I saw this and immediately thought it was just some recycled post about a high school that has probably gone viral 20 times for their setup. Nope. This new high school in *checks notes* Prosper, Texas is built like a god damn D1 campus. How do they get a Sonic AND A Jimmy Johns? We couldn't even get bread in my high school. Some private universities don't even have facilities this nice. Do you see that indoor practice facility? Meanwhile, rich suburb high schools in the Northeast are just like tall ugly brick castles. I don't even think you can consider this a high school, it's just a university for 14 year olds.
Texas high school sports are insane. I don't even know how you'd try and explain it to anyone from Europe or why we have high schools with facilities like this. They'd look at you like you're a wizard. Insert comment here about efficient allocation of resources, property taxes, yada yada. Let's just shut up for a second and enjoy the marvel that is this campus. Not totally sure this isn't just a play to get into the Big Ten for them too.
Imagine failing AP Psych or whatever other dumb curriculum you're being taught and you get the opportunity to cry it out with an Ocean Water slushie and SuperSonic double cheeseburger? We can't even get a Sonic in NEW YORK CITY. All we had in high school was shit that looked like this:
Mall food courts died so high school food courts can live. What a sentence. No surprise this is a North Dallas suburb either. I would have had perfect attendance. We're just missing a photo of some like 65,000 seat football stadium that probably sells out every Friday too. Texas does it again.
