LOUIS LAPPE OF CALIFORNIA IS AN AMERICAN HERO AND JUST BAILED OUT HIS IDIOTIC MANAGER AND TEAMMATE WHO ASKED OUT OF A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

WHAT A MOMENT FOLKS !!!!!!! WHAT GOOSEBUMPS !!!! WHAT A WIN FOR THE UNITED STATES !!!!!! WHAT A MOMENT FOR THESE KIDS !!!!! THIS IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT !!!!!

I have been watching this thing for a long time folks ... I said Todd Frazier was the best player I have ever seen in this tournament. Then I debated Reece Roussel was the GOAT a few years back after he broke the hits record. But as I sit here today ... without a shadow of a doubt ... Louis Lappe is the best to ever do it folks. Just an absolute force on the mound and more so at the plate. Absolute STUD. I will be taking him in every fantasy baseball draft I have with minor leaguers and prospects. ANIMAL. Put the team on his back and CARRIED them, his state, and his country to a World Title. Be proud young man ... this is what it's all about.

Now .... he also should get credit for his manager being a bozo and his teammate potentially asking out of a World Title game.

Let's set the stage ...

5-1 California and their pitcher running up against his pitch limit, the manager decides to pull him a tad early.

Now he gets the benefit of the doubt to say he saw him losing steam etc, but when you pull him a little early and do a look at me moment ... it seems like no coincidence in my book. This guy saw the opportunity to shine and he took it. Weak move. Don't let the bright lights shift your eyes on the task at hand.

He then brings in this kid ... who looks like Steve Sanders in 90210 (shoutout Kirk) and is flirting with 6 feet tall, one of the handful of massive kids California has on their team.

Giphy Images.

You would think he would mow down the feeble Curacao lineup right ? Well …

Listen he's 12 so I cannot say he asked out of a World Championship game with an "injury" that looked pretty suspect to me. I will also not say that in that kind of situation anyone with a real strong ticker aka heart would have had to be pulled off the mound by their ears. I won't say that. They are kids after all. I also won't say that after the game, his arm sure looked to heal real quick as he was the one taking the team "selfie". Won't catch me saying it… just hope the young man heals up real soon.

So that kid leaves the game, and a new pitcher comes in. And all of a sudden California goes from cruising to a title to sweating out a win after a massive Grand Slam.

Just an all time shift in momentum. A potential disaster. I actually think Curacao got away with a break after the first base coach touched the runner which could have been looked at as assisting the runner, but no appeal was made.

Luckily … Louis Lappe is the best to ever do it and bailed out his boys once again. Hit the music baby !

I wonder if we will hear his name in 10 years like a certain pitcher from Philadelphia who went 1-1 as a starter and team went 2-2 and never won a thing yet is called an "all time great". It's a real shame Little League doesn't want to honor winners and instead LOVES to talk about mediocre teams and players. Won't catch me doing that. LouIs Lappe .. long live the king.
