Brandon Staley Says He’s Not Worried About The Jacksonville Loss, Despite Admitting He Thinks About It Every Day
Yesterday, defensive guru Brandon Staley coached yet another gem. His defensive unit allowed Tennessee to score more than 22 points for the first time since Week 11 of 2022. The Titans have averaged FIFTEEN POINTS A GAME. Understandably, Staley got grilled for this after the game. After all…
This is a totally embarrassing stat for a head coach. And when confronted by Daniel Popper (who I respect a lot for always shooting it straight with both Staley and Lynn), Staley had a freak out.
Listen bud. Normally, that question is (kinda) out of left field. It was a totally embarrassing playoff loss, but that was last year. But here is the problem. It is just one example of a long running problem that had obviously not been fixed between seasons: the defense he was hired to fix. And if you think it is some sort of stupid media narrative that you’re affected by the Jacksonville loss, then don’t say you are affected by the Jacksonville loss EVERY FUCKING DAY.
This loser is cooked. we have reached the point in every chargers coach tenure where we all expect the team to lose in some sort of embarrassing, inexplicable way and that’s not something that gets fixed. It happened to Lynn, it happened to McCoy, it happened to norm. And I think, unlike them, his contract is getting axed before the season is up.
Fuck you, loser.
