I've Never Understood Fighting

So we have a really sad story from the Pats game on Sunday Night.  According to eye witnesses a long time season ticket holder Dale Mooney got in a fight with a Dolphins fan, got punched in the face, hit his head on the concrete and died.   Just an absolute tragedy.

Now obviously this is an extreme example but this is exactly why I've never understood why people fight.  Seriously every NFL Sunday like clockwork there are tons of brawls in the crowd.  While most are harmless and funny to laugh at it's still insane to me people go this far.  I mean maybe I'm a gigantic pussy but I've never been in a fight in my life.  It just seems crazy to let anything get to the point of violence like this because you never know what's gonna happen.  I'll carve you up with my words but once I think it's turning physical I'm 88 and out the gate.  You don't know who you are messing with, how many people may get involved, whether you may hit your head, whether the guy you are fighting has a weapon and on and on and on it goes.  The bad possibilities are literally endless and for what?   It's honestly one of the most bizarre human behaviors.   The willingness to risk your health, jail, your life etc over nothing.  It had never made sense to me and it never will.
