After Years Of Getting Physically Assaulted and Pummeled By Michigan Ohio State Has Finally Decided To Pick On Somebody Their Own Size. IE – Notre Dame

So last night Ohio State had a thrilling victory in South Bend scoring on the last play of the game.   Ryan Day went ballistic in the post game interview basically screaming that it was Ohio vs. the World.  He seemed to be taking umbrage with 103 year old Lou Holtz who picked ND to win the game because he said Ohio State wasn’t physical anymore.  Ryan Day screamed that Ohio State was constantly being disrespected because they played 1 bad half of football vs. Michigan.  To be honest  I’m not sure exactly what that means since Michigan has been pummeling Ohio State and running it down their throats since the days of Covid.  Regardless you could tell it was a huge victory for the Buckeyes and a monkey off their back.

Listen I’m as happy as the next guy that Ohio beat ND and helped the Big 10 save face.  And more importantly I’m also happy to see the Buckeyes finally show some self awareness.   What is that old expression?  Pick on somebody your own size?   Well that’s what Ryan Day and Buckeyes finally did Sat Night.  They stepped down in weight class and let all their anger and frustration out on the Irish.  I mean if you can’t beat Michigan anymore then go do the next best thing and beat ND.  Go play a team that lines 10 guys up on defense with the game on the line.  Keep running jet sweeps on 4th and 1.   And when you barely escape celebrate like you won the National Title and finally silenced the critics.  Because we all know if you can barely gain an inch at the goal line when the other team doesn't even have a defender lined up on the field you have no shot vs. Michigan.  So let's all say it together.  Good for Ohio State beating their arch rival Notre Dame! All that work the Buckeyes did in darkness finally came to light.   (wink wink)
