The Only Bright Spot And Hope For America Is Max Homa After He Was Talking Shit To The Crowd And Hitting Ridiculous Shots
Max fucking Homa. I could probably end the blog there because it says it all, but he's the guy we needed. He's our hope for the miracle. He's the only guy who showed up and got us some points here. I know he was part of the Friday disaster, but he bounced back today in a big way. A chip-in walk off where the hat was off before the ball went in was as cold as it gets:
He was throwing darts all over the place and scrambling if he had to.
Him and Harman are the one team we could point at as the team that at least kept us alive. Yes, we need a miracle. Yes, it's still a disaster. But there's life going into singles if the final group today can win or get a half. He wasn't afraid to get into it with the crowd, hitting them with a 'this is my shit right here'. No idea how that video isn't out there but I've yet to find it.
Either way, this is the guy we needed. Spieth has been a disaster. Rickie was benched/sick. Brooks/Scottie got their shit kicked in. Homa and Harman gave us a chance. Shit, in fact Homa is the one bright spot on this team. I know Burns/Morikawa won their first match which was big. But Homa is the type of dude we were lacking on Friday. A guy who can come through and show some emotion.
Can we get Homa to play multiple rounds tomorrow? Just let him be all-time quarterback or something.
