In What World Does James Harden Need Three (3!!!!!) Phones?

Alright so let's just do a few quick rapid reactions to James Harden making his first entrance to the Clippers' locker room.

For starters--that locker room fucking sucks. It looks like a hotel conference room. Looks like Staples had a sale on office chairs and Stevie Ballmer decided to go nuts. Now I understand why Kawhi and Paul George take so many nights off. I'd rather just get dressed at home and meet the boys out on the court.

Secondly, has James Harden never walked before in his life? He looks like a video game or something. Not anything on any of the newer consoles where the graphics are realistic. We're talking cut scenes on PS2.

Thirdly, the nervous energy from Russ says everything you need to know about how this season is about to go for the Clippers. So, so uncomfortably awkward. Just a couple of dudes who have absolutely nothing of substance to talk about with each other, yet are forced into an interaction together. Like they're mutual friends who got seated together at a wedding. It was almost like Harden was trying to figure out "where do I know this guy from" before going in for that loose dap.

Fourthly, nobody hates their life right now more than Terance Mann.

And finally.....

In what world does James Harden need to have 3 phones on him at one time? In what world does anybody need to have 3 phones on them? I get one phone being personal, and another being for his agents and GMs and coaches to call. Personal phone, business phone, no big deal. But what gives with the 3rd phone? Does he just have a shit ton of games on that phone? Or maybe it's his Demand-A-Trade phone and he just keeps it on him at all times now. I know that nobody probably trusts James Harden at this point anyway, but 3 phones is maybe the most untrustworthy thing that any human could be carrying on them at any point.
