Connor Stalions Has Been Fired by The University Of Michigan
And there it is. As quickly as he came into our lives, Connor Stalions has been removed from his post at the University of Michigan. The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long.
Stalions was obviously never making it out of this situation with his job intact. Now it's just a matter of if he's the only person on Michigan's staff who ends up fired or reprimanded by the NCAA for this entire scheme, which I seriously doubt ends up being the case. Stalions was always going to be the fall guy, but it seems impossible to assert at this point that he was running a lone wolf operation.
The good news for Stalions now that he's presumably done with college football, though, is that he can move on to the next phase of his career, which very well may be right here at Barstool Sports.
I'm sure he'll have offers for book deals and all sorts of other stuff, but there's a non-zero chace the rest of this investigation consists of the NCAA beating down the door of a Barstool Sports employee to get information on its most pressing case and that would be incredible. The ball is in Connor's court.
