As A Swampscott Man It’s Time For Me To Weigh In On This Male Swampscott Field Hockey Player Who Smashed A Girls Teeth In With A Shot

Okay so this story has been going viral for a week or so.   I didn’t talk about it at first because I didn’t understand what happened.   I watched the video 10 times and at first blush it looked like the two girl on smashed into each other and that’s how she got hurt.  Then I saw the zoomed in slow motion and saw what actually happened.  It was the male Swampscott player who drilled her in the face with a shot sparking the decades old debate whether guys should be allowed to play women’s high school sports in Massachusetts.  And yes I said decades old issue.  This has been a debate for so long that I did a simple google search and found an article that I wrote in 2014 about this same exact issue.  And guess what?  While my opinion on this subject hasn’t changed at all I literally gasped when I read what I wrote.    Holy shit have times changed.    Just take a gander what I wrote

FROM 2014 -  AKA THE WILD WEST OF COMEDY BLOGS

Imagine if I wrote this now?   I’d be crucified.  I’ll probably be crucified anyway for just admitting I posted this in 2014 but guess what?   It’s my company now so Dave does what Dave wants to do.  And other than the colorful language (keep in mind we're a comedy blog) which would not fly today my opinion is exactly the same.   Guys should not be allowed to play female sports.  It’s a wildly unfair competitive advantage.   The MIAA and school administrators love to scream and yell how we are all equal and all have equal rights but it’s just not true.    Guys and girls are anatomically different and pretending they aren’t is ignorance of the highest degree.  By continuing to allow boys to play female sports the MIAA continues to show how dumb they are and continue to invite incidents like this.  The girl who got her face broken should be allowed to sue the MIAA for everything they have, but that still won’t get her front two teeth back.

PS – I’d like to quickly address the flaming homosexual comment.  What I meant by that is this.   Gay Pat would not be allowed to play women’s field hocky but Joey Camasta would.  It was meant to be funny.  And I cleared this blog with Pat before publishing because I'm a man of honor and integrity and I wanted a scapegoat just in case this goes sideways.
