The List Of Michigan's Second Half Drives Against Ohio State The Last Three Years Is Shocking And Embarrassing For The Buckeyes

Wow. What Michigan has done to Ohio State in the second half the last three years is one of the most shocking things I've ever seen in college football. OSU has been one of the best teams in the country in each game and has let the Wolverines run through it like shit through a tin horn every time.

What's even more impressive is that this seems to be almost exclusive to the second half. At halftime in 2021, the Buckeyes trailed just 14-13 before losing 42-27. The following year, they led 20-17 at the break before getting pounded in the second half to the tune of a 45-23 final. And then on Saturday, Ohio State trailed 14-10 at the half before ultimately falling 30-24 — that's progress, at least.

I don't ever remember a rivalry being so one-sided in one team's favor for more than a decade and then flipping on a dime to utter domination for the other side, but that's exactly what has happened in The Game. OSU had an opportunity to chalk 2021 and '22 up to Michigan's sign-stealing operation, but there are no excuses anymore. You got beat for a third year in a row by a team that didn't even have its head coach on the sideline. There's nothing you can say.

If this is a close game at halftime again next year, I'd suggest betting the Wolverines live.
