Al Michaels Losing His Shit About All The Penalties Last Night Is Why He's One Of The Best To Ever To Do It

Last night was shockingly a good game, chalk that up to the Seahawks jerseys. You wear these? You lose by 31

But outside of Dak's HEEERRRRREEEEEEE WE GO, the most annoying thing was shockingly the flags. Welcome to Goodell's world. In fact what made it somehow even dumber was the first few penalties were picked up and no explanation to why they even threw it anyways. That's when Michaels really started to lose his shit. I agree! If you throw a flag you saw a penalty, so what the hell is going on here? Either throw the flag or don't throw it, but at the minimum that's when we actually need an explanation. Not the 5-yard false start that we see.

I know Al Michaels has been catching heat lately. But last night he turned back the clocks. He was ready for fisticuffs at any moment with Clete Blakeman. He was more than ready to get up and walk out and the only thing saving him was the fact it was a shockingly good game. When Kirk defended the one call I thought Al would hit him with a shut up on air.

There's just no consistency in calls either. We see it all the time. A light tug and all of a sudden it's DPI. Plus it makes the games so goddamn long. The end of the first half took no less than 25 minutes with 1:30 of game time. That Seahawks drive at the end of the first half had 3 penalties I believe plus a review, plus a timeout as the Seahawks scored. We gotta find a way to speed up the process of this all and starting with stop with the penalties. A light touch isn't a foul.

Fucking Goodell. Let the boys play and let us just watch one decent primetime game. We're so close to Al Michaels completely storming out of a game, I can feel it.
