If We're Being Honest I Don't Love Tommy Devito Hosting A Party In Hoboken Tonight But I Can't Be Mad At Him For Being Himself
Look is it a good thing when your 3rd string QB decides to host a party on the bye week at a bar littered with 20 somethings? No it's not. Collect two wins from the Commanders and Pats and all of a sudden he's acting like Unitas. Not great. Can't love the Hollywood treatment when you haven't looked like the bonafide star of the movie thus far. Looked okay, but not great, so I'm not really thrilled that at the first sign of success, we're hosting bar appearances.
On the other hand, this doesn't shock me in the least bit. This is a guy who when asked about living at home gushed over the fact he didn't have to do laundry and got to eat his mom's chicken cutlets. His dad's a plumber from NJ ( honest living not shaming it, but it is so perfect Tommy Devito's dad is a plumber). His family looks like they are out of central casting for The Sopranos.
He does an emoji as his celebration for Christ Sakes.
Of course the minute he gets some fame he's going to work out deals at local bars for some cash in his pocket. What else did you expect ? He defines the term here for a good time not here for a long time. He's going to try and make as much side cash as he can, and we shouldn't get mad at it we should just know that's what he does. He's Tommy Devito from Livingston,NJ after all. This is what guys like this do. We should just laugh at it.
Although … if his dad starts selling knock off t-shirts in the parking lot, that's where I draw the line. Buy one while he's still relevant.
