So, aside from their teams squaring off in a ton of high-stakes football games, why does Bart Scott hate Bill Belichick? As Scott mentioned, it had nothing to do with the game of football. Scott told this story on his WFAN show back in 2019 and explained the reason why he does not respect Bill Belichick:

TLDW: Scott and his CBS crew were at the AFC Championship Game in 2015, and Belichick came up to Tony Gonzalez and Bill Cowher, shook their hands, and said hello. Belichick pretended that Scott didn't exist in that moment, despite being right there. Scott certainly wasn't a fan of that exchange, and all his respect for Belichick went out the window.
