You'll Never Forget Where You Were When Haven Meged Made Pro Rodeo History By Roping A Calf In 6.4 Seconds

There have been plenty of iconic moments throughout the years of sports. You had moments like The Miracle On Ice, Tiger Woods' chip-in on 16 at the 2005 Masters, Mike Tyson biting Evander Holyfield's ear off. Moments that transcended sports and became a part of history. And those who were lucky enough to watch those moments live? They'll remember every detail about that moment for the rest of their lives--where they were, who they were with.

Haven Meged roping this calf in 6.4 seconds to make history at the Wrangler's National Finals Rodeo is now one of those moments. You can't go anywhere right now without someone asking, "holy shit, did you see Haven Meged's 6.4?". The grocery store, the laundry mat, the DMV. It's the talk of the town right now, and for great reason.

Just look at that sick bastard go. Most of you probably can't even tie your shoes in 6.4 seconds, and this dude is out here roping up a calf. Picked that sucker up, slammed it to the ground and had him all tied up before you could even say "yee haw, brother". If Shoehai Ohtani is getting $700,000,000 because he can smack a little ball with a stick, I don't even want to think about how much Haven Meged should be making for being the quickest man in rodeo.

No idea how Jimmy Hurdstram finished in the event, but I know I'm going to be celebrating the rest of the day by throwing the Yellowstone soundtrack on repeat.
