Donald Trump Makes His Grand Entrance To UFC 296
Donald Trump and co. have officially made their way down to the octagon for UFC 296.
Well, they actually made their entrance a few hours ago when the PPV started, but I've had so much to blog that I'm just getting to Trump now.
Just like at Madison Square Garden last month, Trump walked out to Kid Rock's 'American Badass' with Dana White and Kid Rock himself - but this time around they swapped Tucker Carlson for Mario Lopez in the 'Right Wing Avengers' as Joe Rogan called them.
I was pretty surprised to see Lopez there, but I wouldn't be shocked if Trump actually thinks he has a serious wrestling background from his Saved By The Bell days and invited him to learn a thing or two about the sport.
Oh, and if Colby Covington defeats Leon Edwards in tonight's main event, Donald Trump will actually wrap the belt around his waist post-fight. Colby wanted Trump to walk him out as well, and Trump reportedly agreed to it, but the UFC/Dana White shut that down. I suppose it was just too tricky to coordinate with Secret Service and all of that kinda stuff....
....or Dana White just wanted the Trump walkout all to himself.
Regardless, I still want to hear post-fight thoughts from 45. Imagine him hosting the post-fight presser tonight? Answering questions he has no business answering, just because? Would be hysterical.
