I Thought This Was America? University Of Wisconsin Chancellor Who Was Fired For Making Porn Videos With His Wife Affirms His Innocence By Citing His Right To Free Speech, That The Sex Was Between Two Consenting Adults, And Is Contemplating Suing The State

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel-  The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents unanimously fired UW-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow on Wednesday after discovering videos posted on porn websites featuring him and his wife.

Gow, 63, and his wife, Carmen Wilson, appear in videos on several porn websites using "Sexy Happy Couple" as the account name, a moniker also used on at least two social media accounts.

The couple also published two books under pseudonyms detailing their experiences in the adult film industry. Both books and the social media accounts feature photos clearly showing Gow and Wilson.

Gow was denied a pay raise five years ago after paying a former porn actress, Nina Hartley, to speak to students.

Gow said he wasn't invited to the regents meeting at which they decided to fire him, and he raised concerns about due process and free speech rights in his firing.

"I want to stress that the most important thing is that my wife and I are grateful that we live in a country where we have a First Amendment freedom to create and publish books and videos that explore consensual adult sexuality," Gow said.

"I'm very concerned that here's an issue of free speech, and we're seeing the Board of Regents not supporting the concept."

What a wild story out of the state of Wisconsin.

Glenny touched on it yesterday briefly, but I dove in and did some background research, for scientific and journalism purposes, and because I take my job seriously, and let me tell you, I was shocked.

Chancellor Gow is not fucking around.

Well, he is, literally, but not figuratively. 

For starters, here's him and his wife-

They're running quite the hedonistic operation up there to the north of us.

Selling sex scenes on onlyfans.

And doing 3-ways with Lauren Phillips (whose work I was not familiar with)

and by 3-ways, I mean cooking seminars for youtube.

And Chancellor Gow makes some great points-

He said he previously hid this part of his life but made a recent decision to reverse course and "be a little bit more open about these free speech issues."

"There's nothing said about the University of Wisconsin; there's nothing said about the chancellor (on the videos)," he said after his firing. "So someone else would have to make those associations. And then someone would have to say those are problematic."

No university property or funds were used to create the books or videos, Gow said. He created the content on his own personal time and spent more on production costs than the "minimal" money the videos have earned through the websites.

Gow said no one at the UW System or on the board contacted him ahead of the Wednesday meeting, where they met behind closed doors for three hours. He questioned whether he was afforded due process.

The statements from UW leaders Wednesday struck a different tone from earlier this year when Gow announced plans to step down at the end of the 2023-24 school year and return to the faculty as a communications professor. He's the longest serving of the 13 current chancellors, leading the 10,000-student campus since 2007.

“This is a hallmark of excellent stewardship," Rothman said in an August statement. "He has provided a steady hand through challenging times and met the moment when we needed him."

This didn't seem all that bad at first. Certainly not deserving of the kind of outrage and public lashing from this uptight prude Karen Walsh - "We are alarmed, and disgusted, by his actions, which were wholly and undeniably inconsistent with his role as chancellor,"

Clearly the words of somebody who hasn't been laid in a while and desperately needs it.

So I kept investigating and digging, because that's what good journalists do.

UPI - The couple's account on X, formerly Twitter, hinted at their hobby: "The Passionate plant-powered couple cooking, conversing, and shooting with top adult video stars. Visit our LoyalFans and OnlyFans sites for fully explicit scenes!"

Gow and Wilson have six videos on OnlyFans that feature adult film stars, according to descriptions of the videos. They also appear on at least two other porn websites, PornHub and XHamster. Some videos have more than 200,000 views. All videos were posted in the last two months.

They also appear on a YouTube channel called "Sexy Healthy Cooking." It shows nine videos of the couple cooking various vegan dishes with adult film stars, such as Will Pounder, Damon Dice, Sofie Marie and Nina Hartley.

The couple appears to have published two books together under the names Geri and Jay Hart. According to the author bio on Amazon, the names are pseudonyms for "a married woman and man who serve in executive positions at two well-known organizations in the U.S.” An author photo shows Gow and Wilson.

I think I know the real reason Karen Walsh is so upset, and it's not because the Chancellor "disgraced the University". It's because she missed out on getting involved. And that's really Chancellor Gow's biggest mistake in this whole thing. He should have taken care of, and broken off everybody with any sway or clout on the University Board so that they were either in on it, as in being apart of the videos with he and his wife. OR, wet their beaks a little, and gotten on their good sides like that Harvard President Claudine Gay did such a good job of doing with the help of Penny Pritzker (Gov JB's billionaire sister), and the Obamas.

Which speaking of which, is this the kind of stuff that outrages and disgusts University Board of Regents or whatever those self important people call themselves? Not calling for the murder of Jews? Not plagiarizing a PHD Thesis? 

Sad day to be an American indeed. You can't even have intercourse with your wife where you lick up the bodily fluids at the end, ON FILM, and then upload it to the internet for the world to see, without losing your job. 

Doesn't tenure count for anything anymore, people?

But real talk to wrap up the blog, the university system here is really fucking broken. From an admissions standpoint, to the curriculum and who is teaching it, all the way to the for-profit business model of price gouging kids into suffocating debt in exchange for an "education" not worth a fraction of what they paid. Somebody should tell that kid who went viral for the video getting denied from Cornell that it's all a scam and he's better off not heading to an Ivy League school to get brainwashed in 2023.
