The Florida State Viceroy Account Posted Maybe the Worst Take in College Football History

Oh man, this is a banger. If this was tweeted with 100 percent sincerity, it's one of my favorite college football takes of all-time.

Look, I was a Florida State apologist when the Seminoles were left out of the College Football Playoff. Yes, they would have gotten obliterated by Michigan. But they had earned that right and the rationale the committee tried to say it used to put Alabama in was nonsense because Georgia should have been in too if it was really the four best teams, but I digress. FSU fans had every right to be pissed off.

But when you then get an opportunity to play Georgia to finish the season undefeated and claim a national championship forever because you got screwed by no fault of your own, you can't go out there and lose 63-3 in the worst loss in bowl game history. And if you do end up on the receiving end of a biblical beatdown, you DEFINITELY can't claim some sort of victory because your quarterback threw for 23 more yards in his 60-point loss than Jalen Milroe did in Alabama's overtime loss to Michigan. I can't believe someone made that graphic and tweeted it out seriously.

I hope this viceroy finds peace and acceptance in this new year. Just keep tweeting through it and eventually the pain will dull.
