Justin Timberlake Is Getting Shit On For Telling Crowd He Isn't Actually Sorry About What Happened Between Him And Britney Spears
Source - Justin Timberlake seems to be taking back his apology to Britney Spears, and maybe even Janet Jackson too -- the timing of which couldn't have come at a worse time, TBH.
The singer performed in NYC Wednesday for a one-night-only show, and there's footage of him going around on social media that's raising eyebrows -- specifically, a clip of him winding down one song and transitioning into the next, where he says something curious.
Check it out ... JT tells the crowd that he'd like to take this moment to apologize -- but then hits a brief pause before he finishes his thought and says ... "to absolutely f***ing nobody."
The Video:
Okay first of all...no shit. Obviously he's not sorry about anything, the only reason Justin apologized in the first place was because Britney had a book coming out and he was trying to save face. Nothing wrong with that. Second of all, this is Justin Timberlake in 2024...
Why are we taking anything that man says seriously. He's a goober. A goober who, like many celebrities, pretends to care about things that they actually don't. He plays a character. If he truly spoke his mind that would jeopardize the business that is Justin Timberlake. I know that may be difficult for some of you to understand but it's true. So when we get a glimpse of the real guy it's refreshing. It also confirms everything that everyone has always thought which is that Justin was doing what any other celebrity at that age would've done…sleep around. Was it a shitty move to paint Britney as the cheater when it was actually him? Sure, but cry me a river came out twenty years ago. Life goes on.
Britney responded with this since-deleted Instagram that I'm not even going to dive into…
The long and short of it that no one cares. Justin is simply speaking his truth in a dimly lit New York City bar while Britney speaks hers. That's it for this one. Hopefully I never have to write about this again. Oh and Conor did it better. Have a lovely day…
