The Stuffy, Loser Big Js Win Again: AFCON Rules Are Changing Just Because An Ivory Coast Reporter Was Dancing Shirtless In The Press Box

[Source] - The poor behaviour of journalists at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in the Ivory Coast has prompted the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to issue a new set of guidelines and tighten up media access following consultation with the local police.

"There was someone dancing naked in the media tribune," a CAF media official said to assembled journalists at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan on Friday, while explaining the new guidelines. "We cannot have that.

CAF has said it will expel and remove the accreditation of any media practitioner involved in "wild celebrations and abuses [of] other media colleagues," while also announcing a zero-tolerance approach to fighting among journalists.

Oh I'm sorry. God forbid people get excited about their country winning a major soccer match. This is how the old stuffy big Js win. This is how we don't move forward as sports fans. You don't like it? Don't let Ivory Coast win, that simple. That said, AFCON has been wild. Jack Mac talked about some it here:

Now we're getting the press box tightened up all because a man decided to go shirtless and dance. Who cares? That's not preventing anyone from doing their job. You're at a goddamn soccer stadium! People are going to be going nuts no matter what. I'm not one to tell people how to celebrate. Some fire off tweets. Some scream Let's Go over and over again. Some blast some bare chest and start dancing. Who among us hasn't over celebrated from time to time? It's what fans are supposed to do. What do you want this man to do? Write some boring ass article about how it was a quality match. Fuck that.

Oh no the horror, a shirtless man celebrating his team!

I hope every reporter there refuses to abide by the new guidelines. Show up like you're on the team and dance shirtless. Force their hand. We can't let the Big Js win. Everyone cheers for someone, get used to it people.
