Jerry O'Connell Releases His Way Too Early 2024 Fantasy Football Draft Guide

On today's Pardon My Take... JERRY O'CONNELL! The longtime recurring guest of the show joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter to recap all angles of the 2023 NFL season, but more importantly, we got a post-season fantasy football recap from JOC. Unfortunately, it was a really rough year for our guy, but luckily, he revealed what I am calling his "Way Too Early Fantasy Football Draft Guide" on today's show.

JOC admitted that there will be changes based on how the offseason progresses, but as of now, this is who he is giving the green light to draft for your 2024 fantasy team.

AFC EAST

DOLPHINS: This preseason, JOC told us not to draft any Dolphins (he was wrong)... more specificlly: stay away from Raheem Mostert (also wrong). Now, we have the green light to draft all the DOLPHINS in 2024

BILLS: All of them

JETS: None of them... not even Breece Hall (who he loved this year

PATRIOTS: None of them

AFC WEST

CHIEFS: None.

BRONCOS: Depends: who is their QB?

RAIDERS: None.

CHARGERS: None.

AFC NORTH

RAVENS: All of them. He is a BIG Gus Edwards fan.

STEELERS: None.

BROWNS: Jerry feels bad that he told everyone to draft Nick Chubb, he takes the blame for everyone using their first round pick on him.

BENGALS: Done with the Bengals until there is some oversight regarding injury reports.

AFC SOUTH

JAGUARS: All in on the Jaguars, but would rather them move to London instead of Germany.

COLTS: All of them. Richardson needs to stay healthy.

TEXANS: All of them except Singletary and Pierce.

TITANS: "I don't even know what to say about them."

NFC EAST

EAGLES: All of them.

COWBOYS: Need a WR2. Tony Pollard sucked this year.

GIANTS: Apologies to AWL's for taking Darren Waller in R4.

COMMANDERS: What's going to happen with the QB situation?

NFC WEST

49ERS: They bore him. He can't draft them. (A VERY HOT TAKE!)

SEAHAWKS: What if Michael Penix Jr. is their QB (because he went to Washington)?

RAMS: He loves all of them. Kyren Williams was a great waiver pickup (not for him, but for another team).

CARDINALS: JOC listened to a Cardinals radio broadcast once (to which I interrupted and mentioned that their play-by-play broadcaster was Dave Pasch. Jerry wasn't too happy with the interruption).

NFC NORTH

LIONS: All of them.

VIKINGS: QB move to Jaren Hall was very confusing.

BEARS: Apologies to AWL's for telling them to draft Justin Fields in R3.

PACKERS: Did not comment.

NFC SOUTH

Absolutely nobody.

So, there you have it. As of February 7th, these are the one and only Jerry O'Connell's recommendations on who to take and who to avoid in your 2024 fantasy football leagues. There are still about six months until leagues begin to draft, but hey, it's never too early to talk ball with JOC.
