Coach Eric Taylor's Super Bowl Commercial Is All The Inspiration Needed To Convince Your Dumb Brain That Your Team Will Win A Title Next Year

Everyone knows it's dumb that Super Bowl commercials are released early now. That's been talked about and blogged about all over the place now. Worth saying again, because if this came on during the Super Bowl, everyone would have been fired up. Who doesn't like Friday Night Lights? I'm a movie > show guy but the show is fucking awesome, despite season 2 being weird with the strike. Still can't believe that Landry killed a guy.

Anyways, in terms of motivators Coach Eric Taylor is easily a top-5 guy in the world. I know this is a commercial about flying, but I don't care. I'm now convinced the Giants are winning a title. How can you not when you listen to that man talk? Shit, if he can turn Matt Saracen into a state championship quarterback in Texas, surely he can get Brian Daboll to figure it out and move on from Daniel Jones and Saquon.

He's also one of those guys who, yeah, he's been in a ton of stuff - like Game Night. Low key good movie to toss on. But he'll always be Eric Taylor. I don't care how many awards he's nominated for in Bloodline or if he was in Wolf of Wall Street or anything else. Eric Taylor is a man who coaches his ass off and fires people up. They should play this at halftime in Detroit. You know Dan Campbell probably is going to replicate this speech. They should play this at halftime in Buffalo. McDermott won't give a speech like this, but people might listen.

Hit the speeches!

And hit the damn music!

PS: Landry killing a guy is still the most unbelievable, fake thing to ever happen in TV.
