Dudes Rock, Literally: Matt Duchene Capped Off His 2-Goal Night Against Nashville By Performing At Tootsies After The Game
The Dallas Stars beat the balls off the Predators last night by the tune of 9-2. Just an absolute shellacking. And leading the way was Matt Duchene making his return to Nashville.
The game was over by the first intermission. So at that point, the Stars could just put the game in neutral and Matt Duchene could start working on his set list. Warm up the voice a little between periods, put in the call to Tootsies that he'll be in after the game, walk across the street once the game wrapped up and be jamming before they're done Zamboni'ing the ice at Bridgestone Arena. Doesn't get much more rockstar than that.
Sidenote: Here's to hoping some of the younger players on Dallas were able to ride his wake last night. Town full of bachelorette parties, your teammate is up on stage tearing the roof off after you guys just waxed the Preds 9-2. Seems like an A1 opportunity for the boys to cash in.
