Philly Sports Radio Is Doing Its Damndest To Try And Run AJ Brown Out Of Town

Good GOD it's getting outrageous. And this happy horseshit is coming from...Peter King? WTF, mate? Was there not a recent celebrity suicide to Tweet out like a weirdo for clicks that you just have to create blatantly bullshit narratives to rile up an entire fanbase? It's lunacy.

Did AJ Brown record a NFL record 6 straight games with125+ receiving yards and then didn't touch that mark again? Yes. That is a fact. Is it justifiable to blame AJ Brown from having one of the most dominant WR runs in NFL history to simply being an above average receiver the rest of the shitty ass year for the Eagles? No. Not it is not. That is completely bullshit and nobody should stand for such shenanigans. 

AJ Brown is a Top 10 WR in the NFL and already Top 5 all-time for the Eagles (maybe even Top 3). In 2022, Brown had a franchise record 1,496 yards. In 2023, he recorded the SECOND highest amount of receiving yards in franchise history, only behind himself in 2022. Unhappy with targets? Brown got a franchise record 158(!!!) balls thrown his way last season. He also does dominant shit like this to his peasants on D: 

So can you really blame AJ Brown for having takes like this with the Philly media? 

Exactly. And I'm not saying AJ Brown doesn't have Diva qualities to him. Of course he does. But he's also not requesting trades, doing situps in his driveway, or setting fire to the entire organization. So, please, Philly media, we implore you - LEAVE AJ BROWN THE FUCK ALONE. He's one of the few objectively dominant talents we have in this town. You wanna call him out for shit that's fair? Cool. But to give the man guff for having a record streak of 125+ receiving games and not recapturing that magic when THE ENTIRE OFFENSE/TEAM WAS IN SHAMBLES DURING THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR seems a little unjust.
