ONIONS - Yale Wins The Ivy League At The Buzzer With What Has To Be The Most Wide Open Buzzer Beater Of All Time

I don't mean to downplay a buzzer beater to go to the NCAA Tournament, but this is the most open dude in the history of buzzer beaters. In fact he was so open I legit thought he was going to miss it. Guy was stunned the ball was in his hands here and that time was still on the clock. You can even see it when he goes to shoot, right before it there's a pause. Insane.

Not only that, but this was a ridiculous comeback. The video doesn't have it, but there was a couple threes, Brown missed two free throws right before this possession. Just a disaster for Brown, who would have been another ridiculous story in this week. So many teams as like a mediocre at best 4 seed in their conference winning the thing. Beauty of this month man.

Here's a healthy debate though. I almost think making a wide open shot like this harder at the buzzer than the shit we're used to seeing. You expect a contest, you expect defense all around you. This? You don't ever expect to be wide open at the buzzer and it's that distance where it's not a layup or a true shot. Just a little push shot. Dudes short arm that all the time. Hell of a game. This is what we needed on Selection Sunday.
