Lunatic Elected Official Thinks That "Illegal Invaders" Were At The Detroit Airport...Turns Out It Was Just Gonzaga And Creighton Arriving For The Sweet 16

Where is Community Notes when you need it? They're too busy under that Choose Rich memecoin guy's tweets and not around when we need them. I had to thank my lucky stars this morning. I'm living in NYC where some lunatic is going around punching women, but it's time to thank God I'm not in Detroit where I might catch a three pointer from Ryan Nembhard from Gonzaga basketball. Big Cat has a point here:

People who don't watch sports are generally just broken brained. It's not the act of watching sports, but generally when you don't know the biggest and best basketball tournament of the year is happening, you leave room for that brain of yours to get a little cloudy. To make matters worse, this fella is even an elected official in the state of Michigan! I don't care if you're red, blue, orange, or pink to realize the insanity of people like this. But political views aside, you almost have to respect his double down after finding out it was a college basketball team:

"The process of investigating these issues take time" like it wasn't the quickest research of all time or just knowing an extremely large basketball tournament is happening in your home jurisdiction. Maybe he just thought Gonzaga was a foreign country? Those scary scary fellas from Creighton have to be looked after too.
