"You Have Holidays In 2 Days, I Feel Sorry For You" -- Filip Hronek Hammering The Final Nail Into The Calgary Flames' Coffin

For the first 6 seasons of Filip Hronek's career, he was on the receiving end of these chirps. Year after year being told in mid-April that he has an early summer vacation coming up. Being told that he can book his tee times the day after the regular season wraps up. He spent his first 5 years in the league playing for Detroit, where his best finish was 5th place in the Atlantic Division. Last year was his first year with Vancouver and they finished 6th in the Pacific.

But not this year, baby. Filip Hronek is heading to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time in his career after the Canucks won the Pacific Division, and he's not afraid to let anybody hear about it. Especially not the entire Calgary bench who have just one game left after they can book those flights to Turks and Caicos.

It always feels great to finally unleash the chirp that's been cutting you deeply for so long. It's years of pent up anger and frustration and embarrassment, all getting released at once. That had to be such a relief for Hronek. You just gotta hope nobody decides to return the favor if they're a few minutes away from eliminating the Canucks from the playoffs in a couple weeks.
