Conspiracy Theory Time: People Are Making A Big Deal Out Of FAA Records Showing Flights For The Heat To Boston Tomorrow, Bulls Back To Chicago

Hell yes! Another day of seeing 'script' when talking about sports. I love a good conspiracy theory in sports, but I don't buy it with this one. Of course there are scheduled flights like this. I'm waiting for a report that Chicago also has a flight booked to Boston, because, you know, that's what they have to do. Seems like it's just logical for teams to have scheduled flights when they have to take off immediately and don't know if they are going home or to Boston.

That said, I look forward to everyone not claiming the NBA has a script if the Heat win tonight. Ever since Arian Foster and Macrodosing joked about the NFL script, people have been running with it in sports. Every little detail gets examined and someone immediately has to tweet out 'script leaked'. It's not a TV show, folks. I hate to break it to you.

Just look at the replies to this tweet and all the aggregator tweets with the same information. Everyone screaming about conspiracy theories. We need a Frozen Envelope again in our lives. That's a real sports conspiracy theory. As someone who grew up as a Knicks fan in the 90s, this is an ideal thing though. If either team wins I can scream it was a conspiracy theory. I don't want the Heat or the Bulls to win again. I'm sick of it. Michael Jordan ruined my childhood as an NBA fan, you think I can just let go of that? And then there's the Heat, the worst and our bitter rival from the 90s. Again, you don't just let go of things like that because you get older and supposed to mature.

As dumb as the times are, I love that we use FAA records and tracking planes for everything now. Coaching search going on? Everyone becomes an expert in tracking. Play-in game? Gotta look up FAA records. So stupid yet I can't get enough of it.
