Ohio State's Starting Center, Felix Okpara, Posted He Is 100% Committed To Running It Back With The Buckeyes....And Then Promptly Entered The Transfer Portal

Me 20 days ago when Felix Okpara announced he was "100% committed to running it back with OSU": Oh, nice! It'll be good to have back our starting center, who averaged 6 points, 6 boards, and was 2nd in the Big Ten in blocked shots. I don't know why kids need to make graphics to announce that their current situation is not changing whatsoever, but thank you for making Buckeye Nation feel confident and secure. He's 100% back! Said so himself!

Fast forward to this morning:

Me this morning when Felix Okpara entered the transfer portal with a ridiculously hard to read graphic with the caption "dream chasing": What the fuck?

Look, I honestly don't even care that he's leaving. Would it be nice to have him? Of course. But we also just added a former 5-star transfer from Kentucky in Aaron Bradshaw, so I'm assuming that something Coach Diebler told Felix about the new addition didn't sit right with him. Was Bradshaw taking his starting spot? Surely we didn't already make that decision. But maybe Coach said you guys are going to have to (gasp) COMPETE for it! Welp, that's enough to get kids to pack up their bags and leave these days.

Going from 100% to 0% in less than 3 weeks is something. So is the ridiculous graphic posting era that we're in right now. I think it's safe to say that Ohio State helped him with the "I'm staying" graphic, as it's clean and easy to read. As for his "I'm leaving" graphic, woof. If that's what 20 year old Felix thinks looks good, I'd love to see a 7th grade Felix's powerpoint presentation.

Anyways, the Buckeyes are going to be just fine. We want people that want to be here. And we're having literally zero problem
